MISSING: Katherine Peronneau Waring

CHARLESTON, SC - City of Charleston police are searching for Katherine Peronneau Waring, 28, of Murray Boulevard.

Waring, pictured right, is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 128 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen on Friday, June 12, 2009 according to Charles Francis, CPD Public Information Officer.

She was not believed to be operating a vehicle herself, he said. Police reported that someone other than Waring, in a silver Chevrolet Malibu, had tried on Monday to cash one of her checks at a local bank. The Malibu was believed to have Georgia plates.
